As a symbol for the diverse changes of stroemfeld/roter stern publisher, the lines of a ‚scattered´ star organize the exhibition space, leading the visitors through the different thematical clusters of literature. The lines become walls, that dissolve into patterns of black wooden sheets, giving each book a frame for an outstanding presentation and mediating between the dimensions of the books and the exhibition space. Transluscent banners with handwritten notes from the publisher‘s authors relate to the facsimile editions. Showcases with the history of this extraordinary publishing house complete the exhibition.
